Chordyx covers the business side of music for the people who make and release it: artists, producers, labels, managers, distributors, publishers and music-tech companies. Every story starts from one question: what changed in the music business, and why should musicians and music professionals care?

How we work
- We don’t republish press releases. Each story explains what changed, why it happened and who it affects.
- We check important facts against primary sources where possible: company announcements, filings, court documents and regulators.
- When we rely on another publication’s reporting, we write our own article, credit the original and link to it.
- We separate confirmed facts, statements by companies and executives, and our own analysis. Analysis is labeled.
- If something is unclear or unconfirmed, we say so instead of filling the gap.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change on the article.
